Last month I requested federal relief for farmers in Okanogan County who faced significant damage to their apple, pear, cherry and stone fruit orchards due to severe spring frost.

I’m grateful to announce that U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins granted that request and issued a Secretarial disaster designation. This enables farm operators in the affected area to apply for Farm Service Agency emergency loan assistance.

It looks like voters will get a say on whether to maintain the tax on income over $1 million that was passed earlier this year- and I look forward to the public having their say on this important policy. To be clear, this reform of our regressive tax code included expansion of tax credits for working families, relief for small businesses, and investments in K-12 and affordable childcare. One more thing voters should know: so long as I am Governor I will veto ANY attempt to lower the threshold or raise the rate of this tax-- we are asking those who make the most to pay a little more, and providing relief to workers and small businesses. Let's keep it that way.

In 2022, she voted to defund the police and voted against the Police Act of 2023. @Delta I’ve never had issues with your flights until today. The flight attendant helping first class was too busy playing on his phone then doing his job. Truly disappointed by the lack of lack of customer service on this flight.
