Did @DarializaforNY think not one person in New York City would address her animosity to the Jewish people and what she did on October 8th?
In turns out that on this too she was wrong.
#NY13 get out and vote @EspaillatNY!
Did you know New York City can force a homeowner to pay tens of thousands of dollars in relocation and shelter costs—even after they've fixed the problem that led to a vacate order?
I've been hearing from constituents who are facing crushing financial burdens because of Local Law 159, a little-known City law passed by Democrats that can leave homeowners on the hook for years with little transparency and few protections.
A retiree in a two-family home is not a slumlord. A family that corrects violations and complies with the law should not face financial ruin because City Hall keeps the bills coming.
Government should encourage compliance, not endless punishment.
Watch this video, share it, and let me know your thoughts. Have you or someone you know been affected by HPD relocation charges?
@AmicusParvus@claireforny@CCT4NYC Socialism, a proven failure time after time, but retarded non-achievers still cling to hope that someone else will pay their bills.
@bradlander@prospect_park What we owe future generations?
Seriously?
You tanked the city’s pension funds while no-showing your comptroller job to focus on running for higher office.
You should never hold public office again.
No, you can’t easily sell Rent Stabilized apts
1 tenant in an otherwise empty bldg can derail everything
Understand you’re frustrated but you that guy sitting on a sofa screaming at the coach on the TV
🤷🏾♂️
@bradlander As comptroller you approved a contract to build the tallest jail in the world in Chinatown, a place you know nothing about. The company you signed the contract for has the worst O.S.H.A. record in the country among top builders. You're known for being a tool of the machine.
Come on @politico! Rent collections are down because the “cancel rent” rhetoric from the Covid days became a reality through our dysfunction housing courts. There is no respect for lease contracts or property rights!
Every member of @TheRealSPONY lives this realty every day
“To constantly attack, vilify, and beat up on [private property owners], I don’t think is effective, and I don’t think it’s fair, and I don’t think it’s appropriate for city funds to be used to create an office that’s going to undermine my ability to run my property,” said Ann Korchak, president of the Small Property Owners Association of New York.

@arpitrage I have 2 apartments in my pre war that are rent stabilized 2 bedrooms at 700 a month respectively. Heating them costs more than they pay in rent. They’re storage rooms now.
This is insane
Spencer Pratt says Democrat are letting squatters take over rentals for a full year without paying
It doesn’t stop there
He says Democrats allocated $170 million dollars for lawyers for these squatters to fight against landlords removing them (WOW)
“Do you know right now in LA if you're just a mom and pop landlord — If you have like a drug addict, crazy person living in there, most of 'em now also with their Section 8 scammer and Range rovers have two cars. If you want to get them out, they can go a whole year with not paying these landlords and then they have to pay a hundred grand in legal fees to try to get them out
So then they settle with this criminal that's just abusing this loophole and this system, they'll give 'em $50,000 to just leave
— And then ready for this, the city council — just gave $170 million to the lawyers that sue the tenants for these people. But there's no fund for the tenants to then defend themselves.”
Democrats always back criminals, they always back the people doing the wrong thing. And the worst part, they make taxpayers pay for it
@kvvnrggn@amkorchak@floor_per_area Pretty sure the property owners that founded 🇺🇸 addressed that somewhere 📜
States like NY have confused Santa Claus🎅🏾 with the Contracts Clause Article 1, Section 10
Like neither exists 😐
🤷🏾♂️
@EmilyAssembly@SalazarSenate It’s not the rent…it’s the taxes you imbecile. Don’t blame the landlords. Small businesses that own their property can’t make it because you tax the shit out of them. Shame on you.
“The Rent Guidelines Board has a statutory obligation to make its decisions based on the data,” said Basha Gerhards, executive vice president of policy at REBNY. “The outcome should not be predetermined.”
@NYCMayor campaigned on a rent-free, now he says the RGB is an independent body.
Could a legal challenge stop Mamdani’s rent freeze? https://t.co/MHJdGZvyVa
