Genuinely major news! With the PS5 essentially being more of a computer with its hardware, I think it will be an easier time vs something like the PS3, which was notorious with its architecture.

AnyPS5 is working on a project that could allow PS5 games to run natively on Windows and Linux, without emulation.

They want to convert PS5 game executables so they can run directly on PC hardware but the project is still in its early stages.

According to the developer, AnyPS5 has reached the main game rendering loop, but execution currently stops at the first rendering stage.

The team plans to release the project once at least one game is fully functional.
