@htomufc He doesn’t have the mentality to play for Utd. He was shocking last season, all because he was heavily linked to us. Imagine when the going gets tough at the club, how do you think he will perform then?
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red I find his drop in form worrying, if a rejected bid last season was all it took for it to dip so much. I’m skeptical if he can handle the pressure of playing for Utd if this is all it took for him to go from a great prospect to fairly mediocre at best (from the few games I saw)
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red You hit the nail on the head re: Tielemans & mentorship. He has the experience to know what it takes to play in that role vs KM & still learning that role. He can also see a pass, & with our willing runners, I feel this is a perfect match for the club. 👏
@johnaokane74 Utd used to pull off these transfers for players no one’s heard of. Solskjaer, Johnson, Vidic, so many class players that were never high profile but became key players to our success.
@Tayetalks_ When XB whole gaming strategy revolves around GP, what other arguments can be made? XB clearly have some decent games in their roster, but if GP isn’t growing, the pressure mounts on those devs & studios to turn it around.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red@DataMB_ With Vivell, I still think we could land a potential Lammens/Heaven type signing; someone most don’t know about but could end up being an important member of the squad. I miss the days when we would sign a Solksjaer or a Johnson/Vidic.
@SimplyUtd@samuelluckhurst If Fernandes wants to play for us, he’ll make it happen like Mbeumo and Sesko did. As a Utd fan, I agree with their strategy in not overpaying & acquiring players with the desire to move here.
@johnaokane74 He was also part of the issue because he kept dropping into Bruno’s space. Martinez is also an issue, but if you think Ronaldo is playing at the same level as Messi (who I am sure he compares himself to) then we’re watching different games.
