@FreddieKraft The payout topic, is a fundamental reason asphalt racing struggles more so than dirt racing. Saw a video few weeks back, total purse for the a late 80s All American 400, was only 5% lower than last years.
@LandonHuffman@MattWeaverRA Oh I can imagine. Definitely was a dart without feathers. It should be the same, history says it’s a coin flip considering the 5 kept his spot 3 laps later.
@LandonHuffman When the commentators ask after 5 laps of side by side battling, when does the car behind “cue ball” the two guys racing side by side is just the epitome of the issues.
@MattWeaverRA@TigerDude96@scooterroo75 Matt, don’t bring humanity to it. It’s show biz 🙄. Gio is a great “kid” who works extremely hard and is probably even more competitive. People love it when they’re a fan and hate it when they are not.
@DaleJr@jeff_gluck@dennyhamlin Was my biggest take away from fall Martinsville Truck race, in 200 lap race each caution was 7-8 laps. Very quickly erodes the product
@LandonHuffman@MattWeaverRA Copy bud. I didn’t recall stops for fuel in that race just that everyone fought the same thing and seemed like it was the race to be the best car and last one to run out and I think it’s a tough spot to be in for race control to change ruling once a car runs out.
@MattWeaverRA 100% he deserves kudos for how he went about it, aggressively respectful on all the restarts with the 88. One is the best looking cars at the end of that mess. 2-3 years ago probably much different outcome
@SprintCarcast@MattWeaverRA @EmperorSawyer @Criff_Slaflair I bought Flo for chili bowl and Cars Tour races and through running out of things to watched High Limit was conveniently there on the platform to watch and that crew does a great job. Now it’s a staple of why I continue with Flo
