@CalvinSellsATX I canceled FSD after the spring update due to really bad phantom braking on country roads. I resubscribed for a long highway road trip. I found the last few 12.6.4 variant updates seemed to dramatically improve the phantom braking.
I'm finding that 12.6.4 FSD seems to be improving, especially since the spring update seemed to destroy it on my HW3 2022 3LR. I think my car is as excited as I am for v14 lite. @Tesla
@dunkindonuts Are you trying to drive away customers at this point? Between the horrible lids and now ads in the app after ordering? Really? What the hell is going on over there at corporate?!
I’m very much looking forward to it! I’ve been blown away by HW3 12.6.4 until the spring update clearly changed something despite no version change. It’s unusable on country roads now - hoping for a fix soon. Test drove a new Y, and that’s no lie. I can’t even explain “why” as mine feels fine, but yes, somehow V14 just feels way smoother.
I have seen a fair number of posts though with 14 also having phantom braking issues on country roads after spring update.
I am 100% confident it will get sorted out, just hate waiting!
@WifeDirtyTesla@DirtyTesLa Dropped my sub after spring updates. I’m mostly on country roads and the phantom braking is the worst it’s ever been. Literally can’t go more than 10 miles without a hard and sudden brake.
@EVGuyCanada@WifeDirtyTesla@28delayslater Exact same issue for me after spring update. Most of my driving is country roads - it’s as bad as v10 when I first bought the car. My commute to work was flawless prior to this.
Funny enough I put on a protector on day 1, not to protect but for for the matte finish. Really hated the way it dulled the sharpness of the screen. 4 years later and I’m just getting around to research the best way to remove it. I suspect it will make it feel like a new car for a bit!
This lid feels like the beginning of the end for @dunkindonuts . This is what happens when executives are surrounded by "yes" people and they lose touch. There is no world in which a Dunkin' corporate middle-manager uses this lid and says "Wow! We really nailed it!". You are scared to go to your boss and say "wtf - this lid completely sucks - what were they thinking?".
Am I the only one who feels this way? 7 out of 10 times I can't get this open, and end up pushing the tab down when trying to lift it up, then the only fix is removing the lid from your boiling hot coffee while driving to push it back up - inevitably spilling hot coffee on myself (I know, first world problems).
Phantom braking is back strong on country roads after the spring update in my HW3 Model 3. Hasn’t been this bad since V10. @Tesla help! Need that 14 lite soon!
