My dad is a disabled Vietnam veteran. My wife and I are his caregivers now—we handle pretty much everything.
But driving? Not anymore thanks to our Tesla Cybertruck.
Twice a week, his VA day-activity program gives him amazing time with folks his age — games, stories, independence. And every trip (20 min each way), my truck TARS handles it all.
Sure, I’m in the driver’s seat, but really just along to visit with him: coffee, conversation, music.
The truck does all of the work.
It manages the backroads, highway, merging, traffic, school zones, parking… everything.
I get quality time with my dad.
He loves it.
And every time we pull up, he says the same thing:
“Good job, truck.” ❤️📐
We hop out and I easily unload his heavy specialized walker — it fits perfectly in the rear bed under the tonneau cover.
Grateful for this technology that helps our heroes and their families.
What has your Tesla done for the elderly, veterans, or caregiving in your life? @Tesla@elonmusk@DeptVetAffairs
“Elon Musk will always do the hard things … We have to rebuild the algorithm or we have to build these data centers. I think that's the reason so much wealth has been created with his companies.”
Tesla FSD V14 handles a human hand signal flawlessly.
In a new clip shared by reddituser4049, the vehicle recognizes a hand gesture, stops and waits appropriately before continuing.
These small interactions matter more than raw highway driving. Real-world human behavior is unpredictable, and smooth communication between people and autonomous systems is one of the hardest parts of self-driving.
Moments like this show how much more natural FSD behavior is becoming.
NEWS: Tesla is expanding its retail presence across Japan with 4 new store openings.
Tokyo leads the rollout with Tesla Futako-Tamagawa opening on May 13 at Futako-Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics, followed by Tesla Akishima at Moritown on May 25.

The expansion shows Tesla continuing to strengthen its footprint across key regions in Japan.
The human-perceived RGB is image 1 and the Tesla AI photon count reconstruction is image 2.
This is why Tesla FSD can see so well at night or through extreme glare.
@FavourSmitmvto Looking good today Favour, saw your comment on our Tesla page asking about how to get our vehicle, are you still interested in getting it??
