Start where you where.
Not where you want to be. Not where you think you should be. Now where others think you should be. Not where you think others think where you should be. But where you are.

Failure to eat enough will=
✖️Depression
✖️Poor focus
✖️Repeat injuries
✖️Muscle loss & chronic soreness
✖️Drop in speed, power & overall performance
✖️Feeling tired all the time no matter how much sleep you get
Diversify your sources of meaning.
If your sport or job is the be-all end-all of your life, you are making yourself fragile.
Any failure becomes an attack on your self-worth & status.
All-in looks good on social media. A robust sense of self works better in real life.
During sleep:
-You build muscle & bone
-Your brain consolidates & connects information
-Your emotions get processed
Basically, you get stronger, smarter and wiser.
Before turning to supplements or "hacks," if you aren't sleeping 7-9 hrs a night start there.

How to reach your goals:
1. Set a goal
2. Figure out the steps to achieving that goal that are within your control.
3. Forget about the goal and focus on nailing the steps instead.
One step at a time is how you make progress.
Two key attributes I see in high level performers: self-awareness and humility.
The self-awareness to see what you're strengths and weaknesses are. And the humility to accept them, and do something about it.
