@FlowersEnglish A GE before the Oct 28 Budget. Burnham wants to makes all the popularist promises, be everything to everybody, catch the warm glow for a snap GE before having to actually deliver [or fail to].

How much water would be available is the water companies actually did their job and stopped, say, at least only 2/3 of the water being lost to leaks, sold out of area to non-residents, delays to act, negligence?
Reckon no hosepipe bans would be necessary.

@Jenny_1884 Drought, what drought? The drought only applies to nature & domestic users. Businesses, farmers, govt users are unrestricted in the use of water. Water Companies are also allowed & unrestricted in selling the regions water to others.

@KemiBadenoch The EU countries complain about the 'draw factor' of the UK. They say that the UK needs to stop being for ££ attractive. They are in the ECHR too. Why doesn't successive UK govts act on that advice and stop all support of these illegal entrants?
