Hi colleagues. I was on a teacher panel today; interviewed by @CTVToronto@CTVNews about what teachers across Canada were feeling atm concerning our return to school in September. Here’s a clip from today’s interview. https://t.co/VDUIkw358E

Congratulations @ndwbb Coach Muffet McGraw on a 33 year prolific career. ☘️ 🏀 “You have to fight for what you want...you have to be willing to stand up and fight. And you have to be accountable in that fight.” 💚
@PizzaHutCanada really disappointed by the customer service. Filled out a suggestion email that our pizza was never delivered after making numerous calls. The response: “next time your pizza will be done perfectly” smh. Our student volunteers don’t get fed. Thx but no thx.
@PizzaHutCanada super disappointed our pizza was never delivered. Ordered online called the store & guest services and was left with no help. Our volunteer scorekeepers and coaches did not get to eat dinner tonight😡 customer service?
There is no substitute for hard work. If you're looking for the easy way, if you're looking for the trick, you might get by for a while, but you will not be developing the talents that lie within you. There is simply no substitute for work. – John Wooden
Parents: You can buy your kids a phone; pay for college, a car. You can buy sporting equipment & uniforms, but you can’t buy their success. If they want it, they have to earn it. Success isn’t easy. It’s gritty & hard. The “price” comes with a lot of extra work, trials & failure.
Players: Talk!! Talk to each other & hold your teammates accountable!
BAD teams never talk
AVERAGE teams talk when they're winning
GOOD teams talk often
GREAT teams never stop talking
CHAMPIONSHIP teams always talk about talking more... in huddles, at halftime, in time outs!
Players: A good game shouldn’t satisfy you & a bad game shouldn’t affect your confidence. Ups & downs are part of sports & for the most part, are out of your control. Your focus should be on your work ethic, your plan & staying in the gym. Improvement brings more highs than lows.
Oneness is not something you can turn on with a switch. You need to create the right environment for it to grow, then nurture it carefully every day. – Phil Jackson
