Congrats to Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianni, and the Eagles on a masterclass and well-deserved #SuperBowlLIX win. And even if it was a world and a moon away from their usual performances, congrats to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for being tough enough to make 3 straight Supers.
@NFL@NFLPlus Nah a blatantly bad call stopped the Bills there on 4th down (and bad spotting on 3rd). I'm not even one to quibble on officiating, I get it's hard for the refs but c'mon. Combo'ed w/ the "non-catch" catch, egregious missed holding and other missed cases... #AFCChampionship
I'm not usually one to harp on NFL officiating and referee bad calls but GMAB on the Chiefs-Bills game last night--Josh Allen clearly had that first down on the QB sneak, on top of the "non-catch catch" and the clear missed holding call in plain view of the ref. #AFCChampionship
@RGIII And BTW man you were a legend here too, you'd have been making deep runs into the playoffs all the way to the big NFC matchup with a better owner and supporting cast, anyone could see that going back to your days at Baylor. We all loved watching you here nevertheless.
@ChiBearsMuse@RGIII Lol took me a minute to catch the parody account tag. No shade on Bo Nix he's been on a tear since that magical year at Oregon and now with the Broncos, but Jayden Daniels is on a different level even compared to those lofty heights.
@RGIII Crazy to think it's been 2 decades! We all knew things would be improving in the post-Snyder era and with Dan Quinn coming on board, but we still thought it'd be a climb, a few years of rebuilding to even make the playoffs. Jayden especially pulled everything forward.
@Gxdubya@SportsCenter It's been a couple decades, absolutely savoring it. Jayden wasn't the only factor of course but his contributions were a game-changer. A leader all season.
@SportsCenter Jayden had pure ice water in his veins when it mattered. He and Baker were both in top form, both defenses were tough-as-nails, if anything the Commanders had more struggles in the red zone. But Jayden was ice-cold calm under pressure in key moments, made the difference.
@johnnylocal Jayden Daniels is the best thing to happen to the DMV since that miracle season with Doug Williams. Not taking anything away from the Nats' own miracle in the 2019 WS (4 wins on the road) or the Redskins' other Supers but Jayden actually makes you believe.
