Virginia's many data centers have 10,500 diesel generators, according to the Washington Post.

Those generators hurt lung health and worsen cardiovascular conditions for people in the area.

Diesel exhaust contains nitrogen oxides, which help form smog, and fine particulate matter, including soot, which are linked to respiratory and heart disease.

And these generators could trigger 14,000 episodes of asthma symptoms every year.
