There's a lot of talk of an impending #LaNina floating around the media but there is precedent for being cautious. Let's take a trip back to 2016. In April, global modelling centres were going for La Niña developing in winter - just like some are now.

@StalagNick So I think if you reopen Chrome and press Ctrl+shift+t, you can actually get those tabs back.....I'm not sure if this helps or hurts...also, I'm not willing to close my current 50 tabs to test....

@Tess_J_Parker Yes, definitely predictable with forced sentimentality, but I'll usually forgive that with good (or bad) technobabble and tsunamis. That final scene was straight out of 2012, right? I did enjoy seeing Morena Baccarin again though.
@Tess_J_Parker I watched Greenland right after Midnight Sky, and probably enjoyed it more than I otherwise would because MS was so tough to get through, disappointing, had no science, good or bad. G had some fun explosion/comet scenes (not quite 2012) but too much family drama?
@acaciapepler@DouglasLawton Stats does get a reputation for being really boring, doesn't it? I wish a) someone told me it could be interesting and b) there were more applied science stats courses. MATLAB Recipes for Earth Sciences (book by @MartinHTrauth) was a great stats primer for me
