@dexter13883@PaintyaVeil@AdrianReyn79551 Canelo was an ex welter yet fought career MW GGG as underdog, beat him and continued moving up all the way to 175. Hypocrite GGG claimed he'd fight anyone from 154-168 but refused fights like Lara bec of style or moving up 1 division vs Ward yet expected others to move up for him
@dexter13883@AdrianReyn79551 GGG rejected 8 figures. He was happy to fight Brook/Jacobs to make ppv & increase his leverage AKA build a fight. The one at a disadvantage was underdog Canelo who was stylistically more limited then and at 160 for the 1st time. In the rematch changed his style/beat GGG@his game
@jhabeeb1 Where's proof that the amount is inflated compared to WBC's normal fee for a fight of that magnitude? Bud never intended to defend all his belts- dude only fights 1x a year. He decided he didn't want to pay the fee after the fact and stiffed them.
@jhabeeb1@terencecrawford@wbcmoro You're mad that the WBC gave him the benefit of the doubt? If he was technically ineligible to compete for the belt and never paid his dues, it raises questions about his claim over it.
