AI is going to lead to abundance. No one will have to work. All our needs will be met. But there will be a brutal transition period in between when AI is good enough to replace millions of workers but not advanced enough to provide abundance.
What we need to do is accelerate AI development as quick as possible so the transition period is short. In the meantime we need robust government safety net programs for workers who are displaced. AI is inevitable. Don't fight the wave, just enjoy the ride.
