The uncomfortable conclusion is that net-zero rhetoric and animal welfare commitments are on a collision course. Sainsbury's is currently emphasising both, but they fundamentally pull in opposite directions. A supermarket that follows the carbon logic all the way to its conclusion ends up justifying exactly the factory farming conditions that consumers have spent decades pushing back against.
Contradiction that the industry hasn't resolved — and may not want to talk about openly.

This is a major step forward for Hydra-powered apps! Previously it was slow/cumbersome to close a head with a large number of UTxO because you had to incrementally decommit single UTxO at a time until the final UTxO set was below the minimum threshold to perform fanout in a single action.

With this incremental partial fanout solution it is much easier for head operators to build systems that store value across many participants.
