June 16, 2014:
One of the 2010s' most unique tornadic events saw a cyclic cell spawn four EF4s in northeast Nebraska. For much of the storm's life, two violent wedges were on the ground at the same time. Pilger took a devastating direct hit. Two people were killed.

NWS Chicago has published an extremely detailed path of the June 13, 1976 Lemont, Illinois F4 tornado. This track is available on the NWS Damage Assessment Toolkit. Included in the track are F4 damage indicators, two satellite tornadoes, and a loop the tornado did. #ILwx

The damaging wind swath from Wednesday, June 10 has been preliminarily confirmed as a derecho.
The wind swath had a track length over 400 miles with a footprint just under 100,000 square miles. The strongest known gust was measured at over 94 mph.
Our survey team has found EF-3 damage in Kouts, Indiana. They are continuing to survey the area.

A radar confirmed tornado is moving through the Saint John, Indiana area lifting northeast toward Schererville and Merrillville. Seek shelter if in the Tornado Warned area! #INwx
