@ScottPughsley Balance your personal and professional life. You may not be able to get it all done within contact hours, but it's okay to not do it all, and it's okay to set aside a day or two a week that you will work a little later. Stick to those boundaries though, because you're worth it.

@ScottPughsley Lean on your colleagues and be a team player and support for them. You have something to offer, even as a new teacher.

That said, best advice from a college professor was that teaching is a job, it's not your life. It's so easy in the early years to get sucked in and burned out.
