It’s a communist book that implies that you should go so far as to mutilate your own body in order to be liked. Sharing is nice, this is literal self sacrifice. Maybe we should teach our children to cheer people on when they find success or something nice happens to them.

Check out oh crap potty training. You can get her mostly day trained over a weekend. Poop can be hard. If the pooping is not going well just back off and go with a pull up for a bit. Night training sorta just works itself out. Keep a pull-up on overnight until they stay dry for several weeks.

@HannahWardEdu So I was doing a lot of reading aloud to older children (7 & 9) but it seems like they fall behind when I read to them and it is way more beneficial for THEM to be the ones reading. Which honestly, isn’t as enjoyable, but necessary nonetheless.

@UpTambourine How old are your kids? We had a boatload of it from 2018-2022. Basically when I had 3 kids under 5. I stay home so not a lot of exposure. We just barfed a lot. I feel the same way but maybe I just don’t remember it? Bracing for round 2 with the babes… 😂

I decided I didn’t want food to be a battle so I let my kids choose a meat, fruit and veggie every night. Between 5-10 they start trying more again but not everything. I ask them to always try a bite. So I make a meal for my husband and I. Usually one or two out of the older three kids eat it. The babies wat anything. The picky ones eats something leftover that they do like or make a turkey sandwich and we move on.
