There is no scientific proof of overpopulation of wild horses, but to those who advocate for gelding the stallions instead of spaying the mares, have a look at this horse and tell me if you think this is how a wild horse should look. It’s unnatural and it’s certainly unhealthy.

@dodo Ok, but can we future rescuers of any trapped animal agree and remind ourselves that first covering the animals eyes lessens the stress of that animal tenfold while we are rescuing them with prying poles and fancy contraptions and new welders gloves.
