Reminder that Catholic "fanaticism" is not a bad thing. This was spread by the anti-Christians/Catholics to make us look insane. No, they just want weak Catholics to totally obliterate the Church and God.
Our devotion to our God cannot be deemed "dangerous" or "over the top"
@k_catholic_ So true. And it really doesn't make sense if you think about if for more than a second. If God really exists (and He does), He should be the most central person in your life. Christ even said that the worst thing to be is lukewarm

@NyinaWaJambo81@UcheMaryOkoli "Aesthetics"
The ancient inherited traditions of our Catholic forefathers who we now flush down the drain? I am obedient to the Church and to Pop Leo XIV, Bbt trying to belittle pre-Vatican II "aesthetics" is stupid. Pre-Vatican II liturgy and "aesthetic" was the pure faith.
@UcheMaryOkoli Very very bad act, even if it was symbolic, could even look like he was giving up the papacy in that very moment, but of course, this is not true, I am not a sedevacantist by any means. But this isn't surprising, he did implement the Novus Ordo (named after him).
After a long period of discernment I am leaving Eastern Orthodoxy for Rome on the basis on primarily Saint Celestine and Saint Agatho alongside a long plethora of witnesses to the papacy
I love all of you my brothers and sisters Iβm sorry things have to end with my departure from you all and the unity we shared
I am grieved and have been grieving the reality of this for awhile forgive me all of you
May Saint Theodore the studite pray for us

> I witness now before God and men, they have torn themselves away from the Body of Christ,** from the supreme see (ΟΞΏαΏ¦ ΞΊΞΏΟΟ ΟΞ±αΌ²ΞΊΞΏαΏ¦ ΞΈΟΟΞ½ΞΏΟ ) [See of Rome], in which Christ placed the keys of the faith, against which the gates of hell (I mean the mouths of heretics) have not prevailed, and never will until the consummation, according to the promise of Him who cannot lie.** Let the most blessed and apostolic [Pope] Paschal rejoice therefore, for he has fulfilled the work of Peter.
`St. Theodore the Studite of Constantinople to Naucratius, [PG 99.1281, in The First Eight General Councils and Papal Infallibility, by Chapman, 76n3, 817 AD]`
βI am convinced that the crisis in the Church that we are experiencing today is, to a large extent, due to the disintegration of the liturgy.β
- Pope Benedict XVI (Milestones: Memoirs 1927β1977)
@b0rderhopper04@FeelsGuy2003 When he says something he sounds like a UN politician. I want like a Pope Pius X type of Pope with very straight forward and bold statements that canβt be misinterpreted.
