I just discovered @flippitynet and I am so excited to use their resources in my class this Fall. You can make flashcards, sorts, interactive timelines. Check it out! #tch432#f5f

I see this daily in my classroom. Games keep kids engaged and @ProdigyGame keeps kids practicing math concepts throughout. I feel it is a good use of the kids' time and they are still learning and asking questions. #tch432#f5f

Great place for educators to find resources, take a field trip with the class, but also offers a lot of virtual tools for teachers and students! #tch432#f5f
@MrFoleyBJHS That is a great way to incorporate it into our day. Our kids definitely need to learn to research and find primary sources to verify information. Thanks for the idea!

https://t.co/moqHfCOLX5 I love a good TedTalk! Even though it is not specific to education, the video does a nice job explaining WHY it is so important to have UD. #a11y#tch401
@KFQuick I do agree but I feel like echo chambers exist on social media platforms and definitely within the media. Respectfully seeking out those who differ from our beliefs can be challenging (the respect aspect especially).
@Xavo_Rod Completely agree! We need to teach our kids to listen, digest what the other person says, and respond. Listening to learn from others is a skill (my students have improved over the year) just like it's a skill for them to learn to respectfully disagree.
