Howard Lovy your whole argument revolves around one idea that Israel is a legitimate Jewish state and that Palestinians are the strangers
But the bitter simple truth is that the Jews who came to establish Israel are a diaspora from all over the earth from Europe Russia America Poland Germany Yemen Iraq Morocco etc
They came from diaspora occupied a land that had an indigenous people the Palestinians who lived there for hundreds of years then expelled them and called it return
You say Israel is a Jewish state as if this is enough justification
Well if another people came from diaspora and said this is our land because our religion says so would you accept it

The Palestinians did not come from diaspora
They are the sons of this land who lived on it for centuries before modern Zionism was even born
As for the Jews who came in the 20th century most of them had no historical or geographical connection to this land they came because of the Balfour Declaration and British then American colonial support
