Minister @VilleTavio had a good meeting with @IFADPresident Alvaro Lario. Building sustainable food and agriculture systems and reducing aid dependency is important. Private sector and innovation can support agricultural development and self-sufficiency in developing countries.

We can't have Russian citizens enjoying the freedoms of European life while the Kremlin continues its missile attacks against Ukrainian families and cities. Together with Sweden, we call on the Commission and Member States to uphold a stricter visa policy for Russian applicants.

I welcome the announcement of an agreement between the United States and Iran. Congratulations to everyone involved, including Pakistan, Qatar, and the other mediators.

This agreement paves the way for ending the war and opening the Strait of Hormuz, which will have a significant impact on the region and the global economy. 

I urge all involved to take advantage of the situation and find a lasting solution to the conflict in accordance with international law.

I was pleased to meet with United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh at Kultaranta today. We had a very good discussion on bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East. We agreed on the importance of achieving a sustainable peace for the region. 🇫🇮🇦🇪

We had a good discussion on the peace process and how we can support Ukraine both militarily and diplomatically.

In the coming weeks, there will be several important meetings: the G7, the European Council, and the NATO Summit. Coordination is crucial to deliver concrete results.

Ukraine is now in a stronger position politically, militarily and economically than at any point during the war of aggression.

We will continue this work together.
