Feynman believed that the most noble thing a student could do was admit they didn't know something.
He often spoke about the burden of trying to appear smart, which he felt crushed the spirit of learning.

I don't feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without any purpose, which is the way it really is as far as I can tell."
Be courageous.

Multipliers are only worth anything if you have a good enough base to start with. x3 of 1 is 3. Better if you can add +5 to 1 than get a x3. But as your base strengthens, then multiplier causes the real snowball. Now suddenly: x3 takes 20 to a 60 but +5 to just 25.
Something feels uncanny that this is really fundamental in terms of a mental model and I want to build a good mental model on how to apply it in real world. Feels a little bit different from compounding effect but don't know how.
People should learn from Lee Kuan Yew's philosophy on how to break stalemates. It cannot be guided from any other country's political guidebooks. Stop trying to fit every country's politics and philosophy into one peg.
