Peskov: London urged Zelenskyy not to sign the draft agreement. Kyiv said Ukraine would not sign with a gun to its head.
As a goodwill step before signing, Putin ordered troops to withdraw from the Kyiv region.
[Russia failed to capture Kyiv. Ukraine pushed its troops out.]

Translation: oops, didn’t realise people outside our ideological bubble are THIS pissed off about the loss of sex-based rights. We remain implacably opposed to any organisation fighting to retain them, but shove in the words ‘rights of women’ to keep the bigots happy.
Rep. Ro Khanna was blocked on a road near Khirbet Zanuta on Wednesday. That happened, a NYT photographer saw it, and if the armed men who did it broke the law, prosecute them. Now the rest of the story.
The IDF says its troops and police dispersed the civilians and let his vehicles drive on. His own aide says the group was released when officers arrived. Yet the tweet claims the IDF "sided with the settlers and continued our detention." Both cannot be true.
The "M4 machine guns": the M4 is a carbine, and it is precisely the rifle the IDF issues to civilian rapid-response squads in the area. Nobody, including Khanna, has established whether these were "hoodlums" or local security members reacting to an unidentified convoy that no one knew was coming.
Because no one did know. Israeli security officials confirm the congressman never coordinated the visit, which is why he had no protection. He toured Area C with programming run exclusively by Palestinian hosts, by his own description, to get an "unfiltered" view. Unfiltered also means unverified.
And the timing tells its own story. Incident Wednesday. Tweet Saturday, minutes behind a New York Times article, from a politician who told Reuters this trip made him "more resolved" to run for president in 2028, and who declared anyone unwilling to use the words genocide and apartheid "morally compromised" before he ever got in the van.
An hour on a blocked road is not Israel's finest moment, and settler violence, including Saturday's attack on a CNN crew near Sinjil where four suspects were arrested, deserves condemnation and prosecution. But a presidential launch video dressed up as a human rights report deserves scrutiny too.
Congressman, our studio in Jerusalem is open. Come tell the full story, on the record, with the IDF statement on the table.

Last year, Shurat HaDin filed a legal complaint over the Smithsonian's "Entertainment Nation" exhibit, arguing that it promoted antisemitic narratives and presented a distorted portrayal of Israel and the October 7 attacks.
Many dismissed those concerns.
Now, a newly released Inspector General report has confirmed that the museum displayed false claims, including the accusation that Israel deliberately destroyed homes in Gaza "to create a buffer zone"—a statement the report found lacked sufficient factual support and violated the Smithsonian's own standards for accuracy and impartiality.
This isn't just about one exhibit.
When respected cultural institutions present propaganda as fact, they don't educate the public—they legitimize misinformation, fuel antisemitism, and help normalize narratives that sanitize terrorism.
Shurat HaDin raised these concerns more than a year ago because institutions that push such a dangerously biased agenda should never be disguised as education.
The Inspector General's findings only reinforce why that fight matters.
⚖️ Shurat HaDin doesn't wait for others to expose anti-Israel bias. We take action.

Putin has turned Japan into a Russian spy hub
After Russian intelligence officers were expelled from Western countries, dozens of security service operatives appeared in Japan.
According to The New York Times, they built a network there to supply technologies needed by Russia’s military-industrial complex.
At the center of the operation is the classified 20th Directorate of the GRU. Its officers operate under diplomatic and business cover, purchasing or transferring sensitive equipment to Russia.
According to Western intelligence agencies, one of the alleged coordinators of the scheme is Maksim Filchenkov, who is officially listed as an employee of Aeroflot.
The main reasons Moscow chose Japan were its weak anti-espionage legislation and access to advanced technologies.
According to Ukrainian officials, around 90% of Russian missiles and drones contain Japanese components.
Japanese authorities had previously received warnings from Western intelligence services about possible Russian agent activity.
Former MI6 chief Alex Younger: Putin fundamentally abused Non-Proliferation Treaty. He, as nuclear-weapon state, freely dispensed nuclear threats in a way Soviet Union never did and implied readiness to use nuclear force that genuinely served to intimidate non-nuclear countries.
Anyway, about Sudan. Two hundred thousand dead. Millions displaced. Thousands already in the West, from London to Paris and Toronto.
Why haven’t you heard much about? A) it’s Africans killing Africans. B) people only care about Muslims when Israel is in the picture.
The Sudanese Armed Forces — an Islamist army tied to the Muslim Brotherhood — and a rogue militia called the Rapid Support Forces, which grew out of the notions Janjaweed, have been tearing that country apart since April 2023. Thirty million people need help. Nobody's giving it.
This isn't just a Sudan problem anymore. It's our problem. When countries collapse, the flow of refugees always ends up in the West. Yet due to cultural blindness, the world is ignoring this conflict. At this rate, it won't stay ignored for long.
"I'm simply saying what I say all the time: give peace a try."
Is that what you always say Hasan? Is it? Because if I remember correctly you have voiced support for Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houthis.
Organizations who believe that there is glory in being martyred, who teach children that the best thing they can do is die, until the Jews are gone from the land.
Why not tell them to give peace and coexistence a try?
POTUS made a poor choice by starting a war based on bad assumptions against a terrorist dictatorship that is willing to pay for its own survival and control of the Strait with the lives of its own people.
I assume we'll sort this out this round before the markets open Monday.

Beira’s Place was established by J K Rowling to provide a refuge for female victims of sexual assaults, after the utter scandal of Scottish rape crisis centres allowing males access to such things as women’s victim support groups, and in one case,
a centre actually run by a man.
By publishing your report, you at Amnesty International UK have not only libelled hundreds of decent, ordinary, concerned citizens, you have damaged your own standing world wide.
caging women with violent men in prison cells and exercise spaces.
LGB Alliance arose from the need to defend the rights of same sex attracted people and thereby to separate the “LGB” from the “TQ++++”. The reaction from transactivists was to bring proceedings to deny them
to visit them and tell them to their faces that they constitute a hate group.
For Women Scotland put huge effort into challenging the State in its mistaken, almost fraudulent interpretation of sex as a legal term. The fight goes on, against the illegal, evil practice of

Murray, Blackburn Mackenzie is a small group of highly experienced, professional women who have devoted thousands of hours researching and informing the debate in modern Scotland. I challenge your Chair, Mr Sandy Ruthven MBE,
they are quite disparate. Some of your “hate groups” have been formed by private citizens who have seen what’s going on, and been motivated to take action. While I am, obviously, not acquainted with all of them, your list includes a number of bodies that I have gained some
including to children.
Throughout, your report uses what I submit is a totally mistaken methodology, referring to the rights of “women & LGBT+” as if these are one group of people. The most cursory look at events in recent years should demonstrate that on the contrary
Major newspapers and the BBC have taken to promoting things like drag acts, originally part of the panto and comedy scenes, as somehow normal behaviour. The Scottish Government gives hundreds of thousands of pounds of funding to lobby groups promoting trans behaviour,
anxiety and worse. I should not require to list the cases currently running before Employment Tribunals throughout the UK, where women are trying to defend their statutory entitlement to single sex changing and toilet facilities.
