The judge who got caught with tons of cash in his burning house is out free, but a guy criticizing the judiciary is in jail. There is no hope in this country...
Why should gratuity be withheld if company terminates the employees [Oracle terminates 30000 people]. Please make sure gratuity is paid to all the employees even if they have less than 5 years of employment
@narendramodi@raghav_chadha@RahulGandhi
@raghav_chadha Glad someone is really taking a note of the problems and speaking about it. We need more politicians like you.
This is most important thing if they want to develop india. We can't productive time 2hours everyday in traffic. This will drain people's mind and wastage of time. Thnks
Traffic has turned our metro cities into giant parking lots with people trapped inside them.
In Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai, on average a commuter spends 100 to 168 hours a year stuck in traffic . Not commuting. Just sitting.
Every hour lost is an hour India cannot get back. Productivity lost, fuel wasted, air polluted, quality of life damaged.
I stood up in Parliament and demanded a National Urban Decongestion Mission for our big metro cities with better public transport, smarter traffic management and a scientific parking policy.
We are not stuck in traffic. We are stuck because of it. And if India wants its economy in the fast lane, our cities need to start moving.
Today in Parliament, I delivered a speech titled ’I Do Not Oppose, I Rise to Propose.’
In Parliament today I spoke about three everyday anxieties of ordinary Indians and proposed practical reforms.
(1) Allow optional Joint Filing of Income Tax Returns so married couples with uneven incomes are not penalised.*
(2) Restore Full Income Tax Exemption on Disability Pensions for all wounded soldiers, not only those invalided out of service.*
(3) End penalty charges on bank accounts for not maintaining Minimum Account Balance.
I rose to propose solutions that make the system fairer, more humane and more just.
In Parliament today I proposed optional Joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples.
Family A
Both spouses earn ₹10 lakh each.
Total household income is ₹20 lakh.
Tax: zero
Family B
One spouse earns ₹20 lakh. The other stays home to raise their child.
Total household income is ₹20 lakh.
Tax: ₹1.92 lakh
The only difference is how the salary is split between the two spouses.
One roof. One kitchen. One household budget. But when tax time comes, the family disappears.
The tax system sees two individuals. A husband and wife become strangers. No clubbing of income or rebates.
In Parliament today I proposed optional joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples, so families with uneven incomes are not unfairly penalised. If implemented, then Family A and Family B both will pay Zero Tax.
In 2019 I filed a cheque bounce case under Section 138 for 400000 towards professional services rendered for audit and various compliances.
Even in 2026 I am still fighting the same case.
In these 8 years I have hardly missed any hearing. But the Accused SAYED HUSSIAN RIZVI is often absent sometimes he doesnt appear sometimes his advocate is absent & on many occasions a junior comes only to seek another date. I have faced this repeatedly over the years.
Now I genuinely feel lost. Despite having all the proof justice still seems far away.
What makes it harder is seeing him recently driving a BMW while the case remains pending. He sees me laughs & indirectly suggests that nothing will happen.
Where are we living? Is this the justice system we want?
Because of the failure of the justice system people like him continue to cheat and roam freely. I am not the only one he has cheated he has taken money from at least ten other people but they could not approach the court due to lack of financial resources.

@PMOIndia@narendramodi Travel via train is taking too long and hence people prefer sleeper bus. Would request government to consider adding faster trains (maybe bullet train or normal ones). This is a long pending request and please consider this.
@narendramodi
@PMOIndia@narendramodi@PMOIndia Train travelling from Hyderabad to Salem/Coimbatore/Kerela and even Bangalore takes long hours., It takes me almost 13hours via bus and train takes minimum 17-20hours to Salem and if they run late, whole day is getting wasted.
@PhonePe I really liked your payment app, but I had to switch to another one for a single reason — it doesn’t show the total amount spent per month. Since I make a lot of payments using UPI, having a simple monthly spending summary would have made things much easier for me.
Passenger complained to @RailwaySeva about caterer overcharging. RailSeva takes the PNR and seat no. and passes them to irctc to solve it, who tells the contractor, who tells his men, and they come beat up the passenger.
I’ve seen at least two more such cases. Complain, share your details, and then get beaten up because of those very details.
This needs to be streamlined. Complaints should be investigated by a third party. Sharing passenger details with the very people the complaint is against, and then forcing direct contact, makes no sense. Instead, collect passenger details, verify the complaint, and refund directly to their account, without bringing them face-to-face.

The latest horror story of enterprising young Indians trying to export and getting shafted by the government - this country has no future. https://t.co/Lji3yfhO1Y
This is the real story of a Twitter friend, a law-abiding Indian citizen, a salaried professional who paid ₹1 crore+ income tax, and what he got in return is enough to make your blood boil.
30 years after buying legal land, it’s still unusable.
5+ High Court orders ignored by Revenue Dept.
The system failed him, despite being a top taxpayer.
Here’s what happened 👇
I’m deeply saddened by Piyush Goyal’s comments at Startup Mahakumbh 2023.
Comparing India’s service industry to China’s manufacturing sector is not just unfair, it’s ignorant of the reality on the ground.
My family’s story holds a painful truth about why this disparity exists.
In India, running a small business is a survival game.
Here’s my experience as a business owner.
I applied for copyright of our digital work back in 2022.
It’s 2025 now, and the case is still waiting for a hearing.
I reached out to every possible government department. No one ever replied.
I even messaged several MPs on LinkedIn and Twitter. Of course — no reply.
That’s how lazy and careless the system is.
All the government websites look like they were made in the Stone Age. Nobody picks up the phone.
The system is designed in such a way that you’re either forced to hire a lawyer or visit their offices in person— just so they can demand a bribe.
We pay income tax, GST, Swachh Bharat cess, professional tax, road tax, fuel tax, and God knows what else. But when we actually need help? ZERO support.
Businesses spend more time fighting the system than running the business.
And still, our ministers are audacious enough to blame entrepreneurs rather than fix the system!
