The interesting question with 1,000-agent teams: how do they pay for things? Provisioning API keys across an army doesn't scale. This is what HTTP 402 payments were built for — the agent's wallet is its identity. LLMs/AI agents were built to run on 402 rails and actually perform better on them. API keys were always intended to be the temporary work around until now.
Go for it and GO BEARS, from one alumni to another. And when you're stacking tools, please consider https://t.co/o91wEZMoip for 4x smaller Markdown without losing content, blazing fast, and just $0.002/read (automatic discounts at 50K/month). Enhances performance of LLMs because they were built to transact on x402. API keys were always the workaround. Available with cards (Visa CLI) and wallets.
@Flovaai I was excited to discover Flova recently and it was my first choice for a new project but I need an API key and couldn't find that option. Did I miss something? If not, when are you getting one?
@zhenthebuilder@claudeai@Replit BIG THANK YOU Zhen! I used Replit to vibe code Skim (@skim402), newly shipped and launching on ShowHN this Tuesday -- more fun! https://t.co/ZES7wShSED
This is exactly it. I'm one of those vibe coders — built Skim (https://t.co/o91wEZMoip), an x402 reader API for agents, on Replit as a non-technical founder. "Any API can become a merchant" is the whole thing: mine became one, live on Base, $0.002 a call. The future you're describing is shipping now. Launching Tuesday on Show HN.
@HealthRanger If AI would get more energy efficient as it currently can, that would help tame the data center issue... https://t.co/aEooichU2Z #AIAgents@skim402
@HealthRanger Actually, AI can become a lot more energy efficient by delegating simple tasks to deterministic infra, and it will... https://t.co/aEooichU2Z #AIAgents@skim402
@holonabove We wouldn't ask a brain surgeon to alphabetize names of waiting room patients, ditto with asking the most expensive compute to do clerical tasks. Solution starts with efficient delegation of tasks... https://t.co/aEooichU2Z #AIAgents@skim402
