Last week, we conducted a 5-day stakeholder engagement in Kaduna State, building capacity for accountability groups & community members from SabonGari.

The mechanism was able to develop it's vision, mission, strategic objectives and populate the template for strategic plan.

@PLANE_Nigeria supported KADBEAM to develop it's 5 year strategic plan. This workshop took place from 3rd - 4th September, 2024 at Joclarif Hotel Zaria.

Representatives of KADBEAM were taken through a step by step process of developing a strategic plan.

KADBEAM participated at a two days (Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th August, 2024) technical support to implemented selected actions in the Education Policy Implementation plan including teacher recruitment, deployment, management organized by @PLANE_Nigeria

Objectives:
1. Enable stakeholders to identify and agree on actionable steps that can deliver immediate benefits and set strong foundation for future improvements aligned to existing plans by Kaduna State Education sector.

KADBUSA, with UNICEF’s support, has launched the TaRL literacy program for 250 kids in Rigasa! They will also receive life and social skills training through sports and vocational training in their community. #KdCHAMPS #EducationForAll

KDSG under Gov @ubasanius with the support of UNICEF, UNODC & other partners are ensuring productive upbringing for children in Kaduna

1. Functional Literacy Training
2. Line Up to Live Up (LULU) Sports based Life & Social Skills Training
3. Community involved Vocational Skills Training

With these dedicated programs, Kaduna is expected to build a generation of good citizens
