@alexthechick We’ve decide our little company is going to push an analog lifestyle. We already resist tech on the customer side, and we’re going to tie all our products under the analog umbrella. My grandchild we are trying to keep away from all tech-learn to use her brain first!
Gen Z has more opportunities to make money and live well than any generation that has ever existed.
You were born into the high-tech world Gen X built. You have a computer in your pocket more powerful than an entire server room was when we were your age, and all of the world’s information is at your fingertips.
You can learn any skill at home. You can reach an audience of millions through social media and live streaming. You have 3D printers and AI and crypto and ETF’s and Starlink and Shopify and millions of remote jobs and revenue-generating opportunities.
Endless opportunity.
Yet instead of recognizing that opportunity and embracing it, you spend your time complaining.
Complaining about politicians. Complaining about other people who are further along in their career paths than you. Complaining about minimum wage and housing prices.
“But bro, the minimum wage…” Minimum wage? Are you kidding me? You can LITERALLY start and run a multimillion dollar business living in a van down by the river.
You don’t have to live in expensive cities because “that’s where the jobs are.”
You can work from anywhere.
You can get a remote job making 2-3X what we made at your age, or use AI to make apps and get millions of downloads, or clip videos and post them on social sites and get an ad rev share.
There are ENDLESS opportunities to make a living.
Get your shit together and embrace this gift you’ve been given. No other generation in history has ever had it.
Stupid left-wing millennials and fellow zoomers think that the reason they cannot afford groceries, car payments, and rent is because of rich people who are more successful than they are “price gouging” them.
No, the main reason for why things are expensive is because of inflation which has outpaced wage growth significantly since 2020. What causes inflation? Printing money. Why does that happen? Because the federal government spends more money than they take in via taxes, which causes the national debt to rise. They then “fix” it by having the Treasury print money to match the money supply to the debt.
Basic economics.
Why are we $40 trillion in debt, you ask?
Two reasons: The military industrial complex and welfare / entitlement programs like Medicare / Medicaid and Social Security that pay out more than people “pay in.” And, the latter has only become worse with a top-heavy age 65+ population.
Left-wingers want “free this” and “free that,” but the more of that they get, the higher taxes will have to be. And, the higher taxes are, the less money that you will have in your pocket to pay rent, pay for groceries, to take a vacation, or simply save / invest.
That’s how this works.
Corporate greed exists, yes. And, that should be dealt with accordingly.
But the main reason you cannot afford things is because of the government that you pucker your lips up for to kiss their ass. There is nothing lamer than being a shill for the Democrat and Republican uniparty running the show.
Quit being simps for the government. All they do is make your life more miserable. They aren’t here to help. Neither party. It would be best if young people quit having that illusion.
@CliftonSellers Didn’t look at what you do before I answered - good lord, man. Help them figure out what they want to found and start now!!! You have the assets!
@CliftonSellers Start the family business now. Let them work every position and find their lane. Go to college if it’ll help the business. Enjoy the freedom, the complexities and the joy!
@Beardvet@mattvanswol@RobManess Oh my word you said that and my taste buds woke up screaming YES WE REMEMBER IT WAS DELICIOUS!
Now did they also bring back the juke box?
@travisakers Grama would make a homemade batch of Puffed Wheat Candy and buy me a new nightgown to wear and I’d get to stay up late to watch it. Very fond memories but also terrifying as that witch and the winged monkeys terrified me!
@Gormogons Huh. My grandfather was also born in Canada, though he often denied it. Found his actual birth certificate on https://t.co/JxcwkxgJRq. Tell Mrs. p we can go check it out together.
