@larksyk@Peter_Fitz Couldn’t we just remove the recognition of the flag and then that way if you like the current flag you can use it but those who don’t, then don’t have to? Like is there a genuine tangible reason it has to stay as it is currently other than identification?
@GetMinsonOff@Ausbobsmit This is an extremely important point.
I have heard numerous times from various sources that Labor strengthens its voting base by using immigration but what we see here is vastly different to the expected picture isn’t it?
@Margare59969100@Ausbobsmit Out of curiosity I want to take a survey of both sides. If the flag were replaced or removed would you stop participating in society at large? Like stop paying taxes etc?
@AlboMP The likelihood this is being brought up in reference to the alleged labour corruption across the country (but noted specifically in Victoria) is in my opinion around 20-30% but as to what it’ll achieve remains unclear if the powers it holds aren’t specified.
@Karnak30Ellie@Ausbobsmit As I’ve already suggested, why couldn’t we just remove offical recognition for one flag or another and just have no officially recognised flag. Like why are we quickly throwing away this idea for one option or another?
@RangerWolfen@Tyras_Mikhail Agreed it is dumb how it sees that, however the fanbase of RON is fundamentally misunderstanding the ranks. Think of S rank as the “wow it’s an absolute miracle things turned out that way” rank. A+ is your “yeah that’s about what should have and would have happened” rank.
@The_Apex6@RazorwireRPG Far Habor is much better than most of the Fallout 4 content previous however to be fair Point Lookout I feel did Far Habor just a bit better because of the atmosphere, difficulty and general vibe as it felt to me.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave But regardless as I’ve said I can admit I can learn more about differing tools hence I can and will educate myself on that. But regardless, I’m not ignorant to learning more about the tools, I can admit that I need to.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave I didn’t say directing isn’t an art form my position is that directing creative humans and directing AI is different. Again lacking deeper understanding doesn’t take away from the overarching point of is it good/bad/neutral? That is still something that can be debated regardless.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Alright I’ll acquiesce that prompting takes creativity. But it is in my view not equivalent to creating the artwork itself. We’ll just have to agree to disagree on that I suppose.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave I agree, but it’s not the same. The people are interpreting your vision with their own skill. That’s why I see it closer to commissioning as opposed to creating. Look fair cop you’ve given me a bit to think about, maybe I dismissed it broadly as all the same too quickly.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave But you didn’t physically execute the vision, you fed a prompt regardless of how detailed and specific your settings were, the entirety of the work was the AI generating based off of what you’ve fed it, hence why I don’t see prompting as creating. It’s fair to say you directed
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Pollock is still the conscious creator. He chose what he used, for how long, what he was happy with and what he wasn’t. The AI doesn’t have consciousness or emotional intent it’s a false equivalence to say they’re the same because Pollock used gravity.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Also you don’t need to know something in depth to be able to discuss why it’s not good or why it’s not working. For example, I can be an average at best chef but know when a food combination isn’t going to work or why it’s not a good idea.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Answer this basic yes or no. Can the AI feel for you? If the answer is no it’s making an inference on what you’re feeling hence it’s not linked other than circumstantially. This means it’s not art in its usual form. Not unless you’re somehow uplinking to it. A
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Buddy again philosophical point of view. I don’t care for the technical. If it fails that margin it doesn’t matter how technical it is and gets, it’s not human emotion linked. Like seriously buddy the main point was it increases elitism. If you can’t engage that point that’s ok.
@andy_structible@smashking1177@MentisWave Not relevant but using ChatGPT image generation like I did, didn’t change the overarching feeling, or rather lack thereof. Point here is you’re focused so much on technical rather than what it’d do to the landscape. We’ve already seen elitism has increased because of it.
