Rive pushes UI expression so much further, and I’m totally in favor of using it✨
But the challenge is getting engineers on board since they need to learn a bit of the Rive workflow🤝
I guess I should study more of the specs myself too📘💭
Today I finished working on this reaction snippet in @rive_app and stopped myself from going into random directions. Because at this point I need to consult with the devs how far should I go.
For example the Like button is just cosmetic right now, and I'll only deliver the snippet in the file. I could make it interactable but since this is going to sit right into an existing app those UI elements already exist and they only need to communicate with the rive file.
I fully utilized data binding in this, so devs can control the snippet at any state. let's see how it goes.
