@FinancialReview Good.
Australians don't want Trump to bully us into a pointless forever war, especially if our sacrifices in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, & Afghanistan were so easily forgotten.

@ThePomKat @TimJimC @Vic_Rollison Because Greens voters aren't just afraid that "the wrong lizard might get in."
They're voting based on their true beliefs, which is how a democracy is meant to work.
@MccallBrionne Here's Regina, my grandfather's current German Shepherd. She's a bit old now...
The Shepherd he had when I was a kid was a male named Rex, so Regina was named in his memory.
@STOPHEATHERTIME Yes, but he also performed abortions/infanticide for people who did consent, hence that example, and my broader point (the choice of killing a sentient [fetus/baby] is not vegan, if not medically necessary), is entirely relevant.
@valeddicted @STOPHEATHERTIME @CvidCommander1 @ForrestLaw4 Are you sure there's no option?
After all, there are induced and dilated abortions.
Instead of killing the (fetus/baby) during that process, why not remove them completely and treat them as a premature birth?
@mnstrs13 @marynorberg4 @cobaltthecoy @STOPHEATHERTIME It may be wrong, but I've read that the possibility of consciousness begins at about 30 weeks while sentience is several weeks earlier.
@RuddyDev @STOPHEATHERTIME Sentiocentrism cares about sentience regardless of the kingdom (animal, artificial, alien, etc).
Gradualist sentiocentrism gives more moral weight based on the amount of sentience involved.
See this article, which actually uses abortion as an example:

@STOPHEATHERTIME @CvidCommander1 @ForrestLaw4 So you believe the bodily autonomy of the (fetus/baby) should be respected if they can survive outside of the mother?
