Just learned that "Magnesium sulphate injection treats severe pregnancy-related seizures (eclampsia), low blood levels of magnesium, and specific types of irregular heartbeats" and that it's factory is being launched today, in Namanve wetland (now industrial park) in Uganda
Facts: Wetlands are nature’s Kidney, but we’re letting it fail spectacularly.
I personally love these soggy heroes because they filter water, store floodwater, and host insane biodiversity. We should treat them better!
Hello everyone! I'm Action, an Environmental Scientist & Hydrobiologist based in Africa.
I spend my days monitoring the Water Quality of Streams, Lakes & Wetlands. Why? Because clean water = better matooke, fish,... and fewer "why is my borehole smelling like a swamp?" 😂
