Tell me you’re living in post-Christendom without telling me you’re living in post-Christendom.

Read the book of Jonah and ask yourself:

If God asked me preach repentance and *forgiveness* to a roomful of Neo-nazis, rapists, and serial killers, would I do it gladly?

Then re-read the book of Jonah.

The most frightening thing, is God removing his hand from us

[Grant R. Castleberry @grcastleberry]

The wrath of God is not merely revealed in cataclysmic judgment. That is coming in the future.

The wrath of God is presently revealed as God removes His hand of blessing, and we plunge further into societal sin and degradation. Make no mistake we *are* under the wrath of God.

[Grant R. Castleberry @grcastleberry]

There is no such thing as luck. Only providence.

Every single event is ordained by the hand of a good and holy God, who works all things according to the counsel of His will (Eph 1:11).

Baptism won't save you. Communion won't save you. Your good deeds outweighing your bad deeds won't save you. Going to church won't save you. Being a "good person" won't save you. Catholicism, Mormonism, signs & tongues won't save you.

Here's what will:

George Floyd dies, and a nationwide black movement begins.
Twenty-one million black babies are murdered, and no one moves. #BlackLivesMatter

[Grant R. Castleberry @grcastleberry]

There is no way outside of the cross of Christ to be reconciled to God.

Every other religion falls because they have no perfect atonement. Only at the cross is God’s justice satisfied.

[Grant R. Castleberry @grcastleberry]

Wisdom is not the same as knowledge. Knowing is intellect. Wisdom is discernment.

As moderns we are high in intellect but sorrowfully lacking in discernment.

The only remedy is the fear of the Lord & humility before Scripture. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”

[Neil Shenvi @NeilShenvi]

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to His
Oh how strange and divine, I can sing, "All is mine"
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

The vaccine/passport isn’t the mark of the beast, but it’s really opened my eyes to how easy it will be to get people to take the mark when it comes. Maybe we’ll even hear that doing so is just “loving your neighbor.”
