This is something that has to be addressed but no player, owner, or coach can speak out against poor reffing because they will be fined. Don't get me wrong this is happening in all sports right now and not just hockey. There has to be consequences for doing a poor reffing job.

@ESPNRefNHL Oh I know it would be detrimental but when you have players throwing elbows when hitting, and those penalties not being called and then the next night the opposite team plays the same way and they get penalized more by different refs.

Canadian's have a case for biased reffing as it is usually a US based team that is given more leeway over a Canada one. Prime example is the Stanley Cup Championship game where the Panthers are getting away with cheap shots and playing possum to get a major penalty.

but call the games 100% by the rules no matter the situation. Start calling all this ticky tacky embellishment shit that players are doing to "sell" a call. If the people upstairs can tell it is an embellishment then call it as such. The league is a joke right now.

@ESPNRefNHL I have yet to watch a hockey game in the Bettman era when the rule book followed 100% of the time. It doesn't matter if it is playoffs or the first game of the season the rules are rules and shouldn't be "interpreted".

Get the linesman off of the ice, have one at each blue side of the blue line in a little box, one in the goal light area at each end of the rink. Have two refs on the ice each staying to their side of the center line. Make everything reviewable. Yes it will slow down the game

@Diablo there is nothing worse than dying to stuff that is off screen, either give us more zoom or make the range mobs not one shot from off camera. You certainly have some issues with the game that make people think you are just learning instead of being in business for decades
