I can’t wrap my head around taking the time to sew in those markings. Make em nice and crisp. To then immediately turn around and paint almost the entire thing black as night.💀
I need advice/help since @Pinterest support is not helping me. They have labeled almost all my photos as AI assisted/Gen. Normally I wouldn't care as anyone who looks around my website would know its not AI generated and my lighting is all practical with real fursuits. However...
@CodyJethro1 messed up on my commission and offered me a refund. he got pissed and took to twitter after i accepted his offer. he now claims to never offer the refund and has since ceased communicating, holding onto my money and the suit itself.
After 20 yrs of fandom involvement, I am convinced I developed some form of Complex PTSD.
It's hypervigilance, exhaustion from drama,
leading to social avoidance as self-protection.
This was caused by repeated betrayal and social trauma from others in our social environment.
Dont trap yourself in a group of yes men I guess is what I'm saying. You should value someone calling you out on your bs and offering a difference of opinion. It's called growth.
It is all too common to see fursuit makers running their businesses so unprofessionally and getting away with it. It's such a bummer as a maker who actually produces commissioned work.
To constantly have clients be wary of other makers because they've been wronged before sucks.
Anyways, if you're looking for a maker who actually gets shit done and is currently open for quotes, hit me up ;)
Quote form is on our website! Next opening is looking to be February 2026 for April/May 2026 completion!
Seeing once again talks & bewares about awful practices from Fursuit Makers
That was my turnaround time for the last 4 digi full suits commissions
Vaiseri: 9 weeks
Prerayd: 11 weeks
Xeris: 15 weeks
Sollus: 22 weeks
Stop paying artists who don’t care about you!!
Mfw a maker has a queue that's half a decade long and puts out premades instead of client work.
Please yall. Do better.
I'm tired of seeing stories of makers running off into the sunset because they buried themselves in commissions they'll never do.
Anyway.
My commissions are open with a 1-2 month turnaround time if you maybe wanted a suit... this year :)
Unpopular opinion maybe, but I find sus taking money (full amount) for a commission months/ weeks before you are even going to work on the commission.
I saw some people's queues that have MANY commissions already paid for months and they didn't even start to work on them
@ruhrohsnax @gelbfur It should be on there trello! That's how I checked. Not sure if they changed anything.
Yeah 😅 seeing them open for more slots always bothered me when their queue was moving slowly
@ruhrohsnax @gelbfur Maybe their wait times have gotten shorter.
When I got the commission they had 40+ people in queue in front if me
And they would open up more slots while still having a good CHUNK of people in their queue...
@ruhrohsnax @gelbfur Agreed. Hopefully they do talk to you about it before they start.
They'll definitely have it made. That's for sure. I've never seen or heard about them not producing a product
