it doesn't work because you failed the specific math test TikTok runs

TikTok pushes every new video to a seed audience of 200-300 people

and they just wait for a specific score

to break out, you need exactly 35 engagement points from that group

so TikTok has a weighted scoring system

same with Reels, Shorts, any short-form algo lol

solutions that actually work:

for people stuck at 200 views:

stop optimizing for likes (they are worth 1 point)

focus on shares (worth 5 points)

structure your hook to get comments (worth 2 points)

but for people wanting to go viral, it's a lil different:

you'll need to hit the 35 points in the first hour

not 24 hours, not a week

1 share = 5 points, 1 comment = 2 points, 1 like = 1 point

but a critical part most people miss is that shares are weighted 5x higher

a share is a distribution signal that shows the likelihood of a video being viral

so what you can do is calculate your score on your last 5 flops

if it shows <34 points, your content failed the test
