30 fps on a Zelda game made for a 2012 console
“Lmaooo fuck Nintendo and their games they suck ass”
30 fps on the 2024 900$ PS5 pro (as rumoured)
“Here’s a 2300 word speech on why 30fps is ok in games, who disagrees is a dumbass”
The culture around gaming has devolved from community building to whatever the fuck this is.
I spent so many days at the game store as a kid, chatting with the employees and playing on the kiosks.
Games used to come with illustrated manuals, posters, and sometimes demos from the same developer.
Midnight releases were damn near parties.
Special editions actually came with collectibles.
What the fuck is happening man
@AjentVee Final Fantasy 16 and the 7 Remake/Rebirth did this. It is a corporate greed/control issue, Sony wants to control your games and the prices and make it so you have no other option for purchase
Why do TOP PLAYERS of all people insist on using AI upscaling for their thumbnails 😭. Generative AI thumbnails as a whole suck but I am so shocked top players do it and never get called out, like genuinely rios has only been called out once.
And yes ai upscaling still counts.
Internet down? Fuck you
Server issues? Fuck you
Finished a game and want to sell or trade it in? Fuck you
You will own nothing
We will keep raising game prices
We will raise PS Plus prices
PlayStation - Play Has Limits, and fuck you.
Remember that SpongeBob episode where King Neptune made thousands of patties at once using magic and they tasted like slop, whilst SpongeBob’s single patty tasted amazing because it was made with love and dedication?
This is a post about AI
So do Sony realize that when they drop a 1500 dollar PS6 with no physical discs to collect that everyone is just going to get PC and Steam because it’s the superior digital option or are they just really that fucking stupid
I will not be subtle about this - generative AI is both killing the planet and trained off of human work, stealing their original ideas and style without their consent.
It has NO place in creative spaces, even for “small” things like spellcheck and translation.
