Don’t see a lot of conservative commentators clamoring about how murderer Kyle Rittenhouse is a high school dropout, was possessing military-grade firearms illegally. Can’t imagine why not since they always let us know about slain black men’s history of speeding tickets. Strange!

Some people: I am proud of my American heritage based on rebelling against governments.
Same people: If you don't like America or it's government that now only benefits me and/or people who look like/think like me, you should be put in jail bc rebels are felons and terrorists
Before Breonna Taylor, there's a depressingly long list of black women who were killed in their own homes or homes they were visiting during unjust or unnecessary police raids.

Every time that someone in my family asks me about “the statues” the expect me to be VERY upset about them being taken down, bc I studied history/work in museums. My response is the exact opposite and they don’t know how to handle it.
