Updating my Differential-Growth Blender setup with the new Geometry-Nodes utils, like new "Merge Points", "Volume Grids", "Curve to Tube" and more...
Also improving the algo overall for attraction and avoidance

Blender 5.3 supports gaussian-splat natively, just drop your .ply file in the scene!
I'm collecting in this thread some cool things you can do by combining it with geometry-nodes and basic shader

Shoulder and chest deformation is notoriously one of the hardest problems to solve in character rigging.
Most technical artists rely on dozens of corrective blendshapes, heavy muscle systems, or complex deformers to prevent mesh collapse. But Matt Le-Fevre, Senior Technical Artist at Ninja Theory, tackled it using 100% joints attached to curves—with zero blendshapes required.
By letting poses drive authorable curves, the underlying joint skeleton handles non-linear movement, volume preservation, and twist offsets seamlessly.
Are you still relying on corrective blendshapes for shoulder rigs, or are you moving toward pose-driven curve and RBF joint setups?
@moshamash@kangminlee Yeah, girls are welcome to keep doing that to the guys who tolerate it. I think beautiful girls have this attitude, they think a guy is supposed to know what she wants, it's boring, they sulk their way into getting what they want, these women are energy rapists. Not all women tho
@moshamash@kangminlee Fair point, the video cannot tell us who is at fault, or the severity of their issue, it's difficult to say, it kinda implies the man is at fault the way you are seeing it, I can see your point now. But sulking in itself, if my girl would do it, i'd end the relationship asap.
@moshamash@kangminlee Amazing, you understand that it's fictional, but it represents a real problem that strikes the nerves of so many people, the issue is that women don't understand men are under no obligation to stay in the relationship ,especially because there are women who are don't act like that
Okay, this is wildly clean. 🤯
Using TexturingXYZ + Blender Softwrap to transfer and bake detail onto a custom model like this is the kind of workflow that makes you want to open Blender immediately.
Huge respect to @machinima_jp.
