Alternatively, if batter misses time due to HBP, pitcher misses an equivalent time period

Ibatter has leaned into it to gain advantage, appeal and batter gets suspended for 2x the time.
hit someone in the head, you're out for a month. Repeat offense? Out for the year.
Doesn't matter if it's intentional or accidental.
