Have you ever seen a life that turned heartbreak into an entire forest?

Born in Gubbi Taluk, denied schooling, married at twelve and unable to conceive, Saalumarada Thimmakka chose a different kind of motherhood. With her husband, she planted ten ficus saplings in the first year, then dozens more, then hundreds.

In a dry, unforgiving region she walked miles with buckets of water, fenced every sapling with thorny shrubs, and tended to each tree the way a mother guards her child. Together they nurtured nearly 400 banyan trees. After her husband passed away, she kept going with even more resolve.

Across eighty years she planted and cared for over 8,000 trees, saved a 70-year-old row of banyans from a highway project, and inspired children and leaders to protect the earth. Her journey from labourer to Padma Shri awardee remains one of India’s purest environmental legacies.

She passed away at the age of 114, but the rows of green she planted will keep breathing, keep reminding us that one human’s care can shape whole landscapes.

In a Writ Petition filed by respected Sri Krishnadeva Raya, Titular Head, Vijayanagara Samrajya - descendant of Vijayanagar Kings, -

Filed against @tnhrcedept desecrating the ancient & extraordinarily important Kanchipuram temple of Sri Devarajaswamy ( Sri Varadharaja Perumal) - the Hon’ble Madras High Court has suspended all civil works currently being carried out in the temple in violation of law and Agamas.

This ancient Srivaishnava temple is administered by @tnhrcedept by a Total FRAUD on the Constitution of India and in Contempt of the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and Hon’ble Division Bench of Madras High Court for more than 60 years.

It is not surprising to see Frauds committing more and more frauds when they are unquestioned.

We are grateful to Sri Krishnadeva Raya for his intervention- His forefathers intervened and saved this temple from the peacefuls. He is now following the tradition of Vijayanagara Samrajya ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Huge setback planned by Govt is on its way to Temple Worshipping Hindus in Tamil Nadu.

I have received information that TN Govt is planning to introduce many amendments to the TN HR&CE Act, 1959 in this Assembly session.

Stung by Court Orders which stayed or quashed illegal Civil Works using Temple Funds and Properties, the Government is trying to overcome these GREAT ORDERS of the COURTS through these amendments to the 1959 Act and its Rules.

Any amendment to the Act and Rules will be challenged by me if they are found against the Constitution and more importantly against Temple Dharma!
