x402 did 75 million payments in the last 30 days, $24 million of volume, which works out to 32 cents a payment. that's agents buying weather calls and web searches. nobody's buying shoes at 32 cents

it gets interesting when that average creeps towards $30, because that's when someone wants a refund and finds out there's no button for it. we've got a longer piece on that coming Monday
