The most common reasons for failing, in order.
1) Never starting.
2) Quitting too soon.
3) Not doing enough volume.
4) Not doing it consistently enough.
5) Doing too many different things.
6) Not shooting big enough. — @AlexHormozi
Sometimes life genuinely excites me for a moment. The pieces seem to click and my hope rises. But I tend to rise to high and like Icarus the fall back down is terrible.
Leaders are followed because they create certainty.
Decisiveness builds momentum, while indecision breeds doubt. People want to be led by somebody who acts, not somebody who asks for permission
Life often presents itself like a river. At times I am flowing down, making slight adjustments, and enjoying the ride. Then others I am rowing against the current, fighting with all I have to not let it take me where it wants, unsure how much longer I can keep up the struggle.
I got hate online today. It's funny how much a random persons negative comment can shake you when you're not used to it. I'll take it, everything is an opportunity for growth.
Here’s a good decision-making filter for the people in your life. If somebody makes it harder to behave like the person you respect being, they are too costly to have in your life.
I've been taking action that scares me. Doing things that embarrass me. It's scary, it's hard, but I've decided that I want to live my life going after what I want and no longer be limited by others or my imagination of others.
I read about that lonely chapter. I read about how everything gets better after the lonely chapter. Today I need that to be true. Please let that be true.
There is a unique personal cringe in hitting 'post' and knowing the view count will sit at zero for days. I'm learning that its about creating for the love of creation, and not for the expected recognition.
It hit me hard today that the difference in results between trying and failing and never trying at all is none. Not trying is literally the same as failure. You fail by not trying.
How would you define these words?
Success
Achieving an outcome you worked hard for without surety.
Happiness
A chronic mostly positive emotional state.
Investing
Providing something difficult today in order to hopefully receive the benefits in the future.
Some words are so overused as to have become meaningless.
If you find yourself using nebulous terms like “success,” “happiness,” or “investing,” it pays to explicitly define them or stop using them.
Answering “What would it look like if I had ___ ?” helps clarify things.
Life favors the specific ask and punishes the vague wish.
Your inner critic is a liar. 🧠 That voice telling you you're not good enough? It's time to stop listening. Negative self-talk only holds you back.
Don’t let it control your life. Start questioning it, shift your mindset, and take charge of your thoughts. 💪 #MindsetShift
