Know that cities like BLR are too focused on “networking” and making “connections”.

Nothing wrong with it. But make sure you are aware of it.

Most of the people you meet want to make connections to name drop it in another conversation or use it to make another connection.

It’s a ladder game. Again, nothing wrong with it. This is a city of peak hustle and everyone is relentlessly trying to make it. I love that about this city.

But do not confuse it with friendship and make a conscious use of your time.

You do not want to be in a situation where you have hundreds of connections in this city but no friends you can call in times of emergencies.

I know a lot of people who are well known, famous and have loads of followers on Twitter but do not have a close circle they can rely on.

Be mindful of the time you spend in meet-ups and networking events.

Spend time and effort building real relationships. Care for people beyond of what they’re building, how much they earn or how famous they are. And lastly stick to your old friends and family❤️

PS: Most of the things I write come from personal lessons and try my best to practice what I preach.

Microsoft recently announced it's planning on investing $2.1bn in Spain's AI and cloud infrastructure by 2025.

This seems to be in an attempt to satisfy data sovereignty regulations by increasing their spread of datacentres within the region.
