Just use Mother Parkers... here is the info...
Based on current product certifications, Mother Parkers foodservice tea bags are plastic-free and biodegradable.
The company's "MPTC Tea Bag" is certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), indicating it is designed to fully biodegrade in composting environments. The certified product specifications list the materials as filter paper (224μm) and a tea bag material (78μm) without any plastic components, distinguishing them from many conventional tea bags that use polypropylene seals. While Mother Parkers has widely publicized its Boardio® fiber-based packaging for coffee, the BPI certification specifically confirms that their foodservice tea bags are made from compostable paper materials rather than plastic.
