@FlambeBoy@MycroboreanChad@Meronill@LegionXXIII@uiulex Not getting into the rest of the argument, but kun and chan aren't necessarily gendered. Within Trails itself, Olivier uses Schera-kun and Estelle-kun, and Feri uses onii-chan for Kasim.
@NamsCompendium Like for example I didn't know how fusion worked at all watching the LP, so people who don't care for game mechanics wouldn't be interested in it.
@NamsCompendium I watched an original P5 playthrough when it was PS exclusive and I didn't have the console, and I loved the story and characters. So while I'm not that way (I got P5R on steam and 100%ed it last year) I can see how people who are only in it for the story could enjoy it that way.
@uiulex I couldn't find an option after looking as well, since I wasn't a fan of it either. I will say that I did get used to it and it stopped bothering me after a while though.
@magatsuizanyagi I'm usually a lurker but I can't let this go.
He's my favourite protagonist so far, though admittedly it's close with Estelle. I'm hoping Horizon 2 will be peak enough to make it not as close. Though maybe it's a bias because he's older and basically a second Gintoki.
@hyperlyme Gaius was a good dude, I liked him for his level-headedness and pride in his family and homeland, but yeah beyond that he wasn't interesting compared to the rest of the cast. Definitely agree with the glow up.
@_justthegems I have and always will prefer subs, but it is true that dubs are the majority these days. I'll stand by the "you do you" mentality so I'm not going to police anyone's choice but it does suck when characters are different between the two, which does affect discourse on the games.
@YuuyuuSQ Van made my top 4 after DB1, so it's him (there may or may not be a Gintoki-related bias in play here). I think I cried only thrice in DB1 and all of them were Van related.
The others are no slouches though, they're all fantastic in their own rights.
