@airkatakana isn’t part of the ai pitch that the cost of software / labor is now closer to zero
so we should at least start seeing lower prices even in existing apps
this actually makes me believe tech workers have been successfully automated because llms started with promises of fixing the world and ended up building some “interesting little apps”
Jensen: “I think we’ve achieved AGI.”
“It’s not out of the question that an OpenClaw could create a web service or some interesting little app that, all of a sudden, a few billion people use for 50 cents.”
@sporadica sometimes i wonder if i preferred the world where people at least pretended they care about shit like that because it didn’t spread to those impressionable enough to believe that this was a good take
but maybe it’s good to have this out in the public for all to see idk
if anyone needs a light pulse check on how people outside of tech perceive ai, have a brief look at how the normies reacted to dlss 5 rerendering actual graphics in their video games and making them look like 100% ai slop
@benhylak i actually forgot there was like a year or two around 2019 when half of tech twitter was pushing stoicism for some reason
ngl i preferred that to whatever this is
@VCBrags you only know you really made it when you vibe code on your private jet flying to whatever the current equivalent of the epstein island is, that’s the where the top of the tops is
big lesson there
