Today marks 3 years since Imran Khan was unjustly incarcerated.
He is still being denied basic human rights and remains in solitary confinement.
His abominable treatment is an affront to democracy. I will continue to demand the release of all political prisoners, everywhere.
This is very serious and concerning. Access to his doctors and family must be given asap! The same goes for Bushra Bibi. There must be some humanity left in someone… Courts must also start doing their job.
#PAKWatch🇵🇰: IMRAN KHAN has now been ILLEGALLY INCARCERATED for 1,000 DAYS.
The last time I spoke to Captain Pakistan was in April 2023.
I'm looking forward to speaking with my friend Imran Khan again. We have a lot of lost ground to make up.
FREE IMRAN KHAN.
This is an SOS.
An urgent appeal to the International Community, to Human Rights Organizations and to every voice that still believes in justice.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the most popular leader in the country and the chairman of its largest political party is being systematically denied his basic Human Rights.
He has already lost vision in almost all of one eye and he is now suffering from dental issues. He is being denied access to his personal physicians who know his medical history, who his family trusts and who are best equipped to treat him.
His family has repeatedly requested that he be shifted to Shifa International Hospital so he can receive appropriate care. Even more alarming is that his family has not seen him for over 6 months.
Raise your voice.
Demand accountability.
Demand his basic Human Rights!

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan is in solitary confinement since October 16, 2025.
He has spoken to his sons only twice in 2025 and once in February 2026 after Supreme Court orders. He has been denied books to read. He has received only 3 of the dozen books that we managed to get to adiala through a judge.
Then, a perfectly health and fit Imran Khan suddenly develops a clot in his eye. He was not provided medical assistance. For two weeks, he repeatedly told the jail superintendent that he CANNOT SEE.
The Adiala Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum DELAYED calling in a specialist for three months.
By the time the eye doctor came, the delay caused permanent damage to Imran Khan’s eye. We are extremely worried that his other eye could also develop a clot.
Imran khan has repeatedly sent messages over past few months that he is not satisfied with the treatment and there is only marginal improvement after the first injection in the eye. No improvement since then.
Over the past month, Bushra Bibi, his wife has also developed an eye condition and was operated upon last week.
Imran khan and his wife are being tortured through solitary confinement. We have repeatedly protested, demanding Imran Khan to be examined and treated at Shifa International Islamabad. There is an urgent need to identify the cause of the blood clot. Our worry is that his other eye could also develop a clot unless proper diagnosis is done and it’s treated accordingly
This is inhumane and a violation of all fundemental and human rights of a prisoner under Pakistan and International laws.
It’s terribly painful to the people of Pakistan to see their chosen leader @ImranKhanPTI to be in a tortured state of solitary confinement.
This has to end not only for his dignity, but the dignity of the state, and respect for some semblance of humanity law order and process.
The hero and choice of Pakistan remains @ImranKhanPTI and his health is terribly compromised. Hes incarcerated in torturous conditions.
We want a peace deal not only internationally but also locally in #Pakistan
“As a family we are extremely concerned.” @DrUzma_KhanPK
Imran Khan must immediately be transferred to a hospital for proper treatment of his eye, his family demands. For over four months, no member of his family has been allowed inside Adiala Jail to meet him, despite orders from senior Judges of the Islamabad High Court.

The Telegraph reports Imran Khan has spent nearly 1,000 days in confinement—now held in a “death cell”—yet his legacy, from World Cup glory to political upheaval, continues to defy imprisonment.
🖋️ "The light from his past helps lessen the darkness around his present."
Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan found an eight-day jail spell in 2007 unbearable – he has now been held for almost 1,000 days.

The situation of Imran Khan is severe. He is not asking for pardon, only fair treatment, dignity, and access to proper medical care. That should be a basic standard.
#ImranKhan
Again and again!
It is absolutely inhuman and illegal to keep Khan Saab and Bushra Bibi in 24hr solitary confinement. It’s also absolutely pathetic and insecure behaviour not allowing their other legal teams, personal doctors or family from seeing them for months. The entire nation prays and stands with Khan Saab. This too shall pass… 💔
The patriotic & competent @MusaNV18 continues to be a missing person. He left his job abroad to serve for Pakistan out of his love for the country. What kind of a message are we giving out abducting youth like him?

Imran Khan is being held in solitary confinement, this is a blatant and indefensible assault on the rule of law. It violates jail rules, binding Supreme Court jurisprudence and fundamental rights under Articles 9 & 14 of the Constitution. It also puts Govt of Pakistan in clear breach of its international obligations. The arbitrary isolation of a Imran Khan is nothing short of a grave abuse of power and must end immediately
‼️ 🚨 ‼️
“ We have not been allowed to meet our brother since 3 months.
Imran Khan is not being given proper medical treatment nor is he being allowed access to his personal doctors.”
PAKISTAN: The unlawful detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters yesterday, who were protesting outside Adiala jail, Rawalpindi, is yet another example of the repression of the right to protest in the country. Among those detained were former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khanum, who had gathered outside the Adiala jail premises as part of court-mandated weekly family visits which have been denied since 2 December 2025.
Instead of facilitating lawful visitation, authorities responded with arbitrary detention, tear gas and baton charge. Imran Khan’s sisters and other women protesters were forcibly confined for hours in a closed shop near the jail, while dozens of others were detained in the open air for nearly five hours in torrential rain.
This incident is part of a pattern of targeting PTI supporters and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s family by criminalizing peaceful protest and using sweeping and arbitrary bans through section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as a blanket tool to silence dissent.
Amnesty International urges the Pakistani authorities to immediately end their crackdown on peaceful protests, respect the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and ensure unhindered access to court‑mandated family visits for Imran Khan.
